A seminar on Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) was held by the Regional Agriculture and Fishery Council – Cordillera (RAFC-CAR) from July 11–12, 2024, at the City Travel Hotel, Kisad Rd., Baguio City.

With a focus on the agriculture and fishing sectors, the seminar sought to increase awareness of the value of gender balance within the AFC. Through their insights into incorporating gender views into projects, programs, and policies, participants were better equipped with the information and abilities needed to advance inclusivity and diversity.

Attendees investigated ways to improve social inclusion and gender equality in AFC programs through interactive workshops and expert talks. AFC stakeholders were able to network and share best practices throughout the event, which encouraged cooperation.
