๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ || Department of Agriculture – Cordillera (DA-CAR) Regional Technical Director for Research and Regulations Dr. Arlene M. Sagayo, representing Regional Executive Director Atty. Jennilyn M. Dawayan, graced the 5-day national activity of the Kabuhayan at Kaunlaran ng Kababayang Katutubo (4K) Program, underscoring the vital role of the program to the empowerment and sustainability of the indigenous farming community in the country.
โThe 4K program is more than a government intervention. It is a partnership with our IP communities, grounded in respect, inclusiveness, and the shared goal of sustainable partners. As we review our accomplishments, let us focus not only on numbers and outputs, but on the real lives touched and the communities strengthened,โ she stressed.
She added that the activity is an important opportunity to reflect on the work the program has done throughout the year, the gains in community development, capacity building, and livelihood enhancement, as well as the challenges that tested its resilience and commitment.
