𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 || Several Provincial and Municipal Corn Program coordinators, report officers, and municipal and city agriculturists convened for the Department of Agriculture–Cordillera (DA-CAR) Regional Corn Program Assessment on February 5, 2026, in Baguio City.
The activity aims to discuss agendas on new projects, guidelines, and directives from the National Corn Program; provide an overview of financial accomplishments; and evaluate corn production performance for FY 2025. It also tackled the status and accomplishments of implementing units, including the Farm and Fisheries Clustering and Consolidation (F2C2) Program, Agricultural Machinery, Equipment, Facilities, and Infrastructure Program, as well as the results of corn and cassava researches, and the issues and concerns encountered during project implementation.
DA-CAR Regional Corn Program Coordinator Gerardo Banawa presented the banner program’s financial and corn production history from 2017 to 2025, along with its FY 2025 accomplishments, awards, and recognition.
The assessment also included a workshop on the final identification of beneficiaries for FY 2027.//CEWaytan
